The Tara is a 300mm crystal table lamp built around a curved black chrome arm that rises from a rectangular base, supporting a single E14 candle fitting above a crystal bobeche drip plate. Four faceted crystal droplets hang from the arm and base, catching and refracting light from the bulb above. The black chrome finish provides high contrast against the cut crystal, making the droplets stand out under both natural and electric light.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables and side tables in living rooms and bedrooms, the Tara provides decorative accent lighting rather than primary task light. The compact 230mm width suits narrow surfaces without overhang. The inline dimmer on the cable allows brightness adjustment from low ambient glow to full output, making it useful for evening reading or as background lighting during television viewing. The lamp accepts any E14 candle bulb up to 60W, sold separately.

The black chrome finish is a dark gunmetal plating applied over the metal frame, giving a cooler tone than traditional brass or bronze finishes. The crystal droplets are precision-cut with multiple facets — two spherical droplets at approximately 30mm diameter hang from the base, while a teardrop finial of approximately 50mm height sits above the bobeche and a smaller sphere decorates the curved arm. The 1.5kg weight gives the lamp stability on most table surfaces without requiring anchoring.

What bulb does the Tara take?

The lamp takes a single E14 small Edison screw candle bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W LED candle bulb in 2700K warm white to replicate traditional filament appearance while keeping heat output low.

Is it dimmable?

Yes. The Tara includes an inline dimmer on the cable, allowing brightness adjustment without requiring a wall dimmer switch. The dimmer is compatible with dimmable LED, halogen and incandescent E14 bulbs.

How is the crystal cleaned?

The cut crystal droplets can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, remove the droplets from their hooks, wash gently in lukewarm water with a drop of washing-up liquid, rinse and dry immediately with a lint-free cloth to avoid water spots.

What surfaces does it suit?

The 230mm width and rectangular 100mm x 230mm footprint suit bedside tables, narrow console tables and side tables. The 1.5kg weight is stable on most surfaces without being heavy enough to mark polished wood.
