Description
Our Tapered Waves 3D wall panels are white PVC squares measuring 50 x 50cm, with a relief 15mm deep. Long, pointed swells lie across each panel in staggered, overlapping bands, curving gently up and down with narrow flat channels between them. Some are short while others reach nearly the full width, and many run off the left or right edge, so the waves seem to flow past the borders of each square. The swells are laid out irregularly, with no smaller repeat within the panel, which keeps a wall of them looking like drifting sand rather than a printed grid.
These panels are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops. They make a striking feature wall behind a bed or sofa, or behind a reception desk or shop counter, and the pattern sits as comfortably in a calm bedroom as in a busy hotel lobby. The relief is deep enough that light falling across the wall from a window or a wall light picks out every rounded swell and leaves the flat channels in soft shadow. In flat, even light the wall reads as quiet white texture; as the light moves through the day, the waves grow bolder and the shading deepens.
Each panel is formed from a 0.8mm PVC sheet, and as PVC is waterproof, the surface wipes clean with a damp cloth and needs little looking after. Fitting needs no special equipment: spread adhesive over the back of a panel, press it onto the wall, cut panels to fit at the edges, then fill the joins with filler and wipe them clean. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. Four panels cover one square metre, which makes it simple to work out how many your wall needs. For the strongest effect, light the wall from one side with a spotlight angled across it.

Frequently Asked
What does the Tapered Waves pattern look like?
Long, pointed swells run horizontally across the panel in staggered, overlapping bands, with narrow flat channels between them. They vary in length, many run off the edges, and there is no smaller repeat within the panel.
How big is each panel and how much wall does it cover?
Each panel is a 50cm square, and four panels cover one square metre, which is the easiest figure to work from when you measure up.
How do I fix the panels to the wall?
Spread adhesive over the back of each panel and press it firmly onto the wall. You will not need any special equipment for the job.
What else do I need to buy?
You will need adhesive to fix the panels and filler for the joins, and neither comes with the panels, so order both before you start.
Can I cut the panels to fit, and how are the joins finished?
Yes, the PVC can be cut to fit at the edges of your wall. Once the panels are up, fill the joins with filler and wipe them clean for a tidy finish.
How do I clean the panels?
Wipe them with a damp cloth. PVC is waterproof and the panels are low maintenance, so an occasional wipe keeps the white relief looking fresh.
