Can this be used in fully exposed positions?

The IP44 rating protects against water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for covered positions such as under eaves, canopies, or deep porches. What bulb is recommended?

The E27 socket accepts any standard screw-in bulb up to 60W. Most users fit a 6-10W warm-white LED (2700K-3000K) for balanced light output and energy efficiency. A filament-style LED bulb complements the traditional lantern design when visible through the seeded glass.

How is the seeded glass different from clear?

Seeded glass contains small air bubbles trapped during manufacture, which diffuse the light source and reduce glare. This softens the appearance of the bulb itself and spreads a warmer, less directional light compared to clear glass panels.
