Description

This is a tall ceramic planter finished in a deep black glaze, with an etched pattern worked into the surface and a single handle set to one side. The ceramic body has a smooth, slightly reflective finish that catches the light, while the carved detailing gives the exterior texture and a little shadow across the day. Standing 24cm tall and 27cm across, it holds a good amount of soil and suits a medium houseplant or a small potted shrub.

We like this planter in a hallway, on a kitchen windowsill or grouped with others on a shelf, where the black glaze reads well against pale walls and natural wood. The handle makes it easy to lift and turn, so you can move it towards the light or shift it for cleaning without disturbing the plant.
