Description

This Knightsbridge switch cover is pre-printed with 'Wine Cooler' text and finished in black nickel. The cover clips onto a standard grid rocker switch, replacing the blank or existing cover to clearly label the outlet controlling a wine cooler, under-counter fridge or other appliance. The cover measures 33mm high by 16mm wide and projects 6.8mm from the switch face when fitted.

Designed for use in kitchens, utility rooms and home bars where multiple appliances are controlled by grid switches on a single faceplate, the labelled cover eliminates confusion over which switch operates which appliance. The cover is removable and interchangeable, so if the appliance changes or the switch is repurposed, a different cover can be fitted without replacing the entire switch module.

The black nickel finish provides a dark metallic appearance that pairs with black nickel, brushed black chrome and gunmetal grid faceplates. The cover is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel reinforcement, rated IP20 for indoor use. The pre-printed text is moulded into the surface rather than applied as a sticker, so it will not wear off or peel over time.

The cover fits Knightsbridge Grid rocker switches and compatible grid switch modules from other manufacturers using the same standard rocker dimension. It clips onto the rocker mechanism, replacing any existing blank or labelled cover.

Is the text permanent?

The 'Wine Cooler' text is moulded into the ABS plastic during manufacture, not printed or stuck on. This means it will not fade, peel or rub off during cleaning or normal use.

Can the cover be changed later?

Yes. The cover is designed to be removable and interchangeable without tools. If the appliance connected to the switch changes, a different labelled cover can be fitted to the same rocker switch.
