Description

The Quoizel Swell is a 3-light bathroom wall light constructed from steel finished in brushed brass, with three frosted glass bell-shaped shades mounted on a 610mm horizontal bar. Each shade houses a 3W 3000K G9 LED bulb (included), giving a combined 9W output of warm white light. The fitting carries an IP44 rating, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 where occasional splashing may occur.

Designed for mounting above bathroom mirrors or vanity units, the Swell provides even facial lighting across a width of 610mm, which suits most standard single and double basin units. The 171mm projection from the wall positions the light forward of the mirror plane, reducing harsh shadows under the chin and eyes. The frosted glass diffuses the G9 capsule bulbs, softening glare while maintaining enough output for grooming tasks.

The brushed brass finish has a soft satin texture that reduces reflections and fingerprints compared to polished brass, making it more practical in a bathroom environment where moisture and cleaning are frequent. What bathroom zones is the Swell rated for?

The IP44 rating makes the Swell suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, where occasional splashing may occur. It is not rated for use directly above a bath or shower (zone 1) or inside a shower enclosure (zone 0).

Are the LED bulbs replaceable?

Yes. The fitting uses three standard G9 LED capsule bulbs rated at 3W and 3000K. These are included with the fitting and can be replaced individually if one fails.

What basin width does the 610mm light suit?

The 610mm width works well above single basins of 500-700mm and double basins up to 1200mm. For wider double vanities, two Swell fittings can be mounted side by side, one above each basin.
