Description

The Sweet Olive is a 762mm diameter chandelier built around six curved metal arms finished in hand-patinated gilded gold, each terminating in a candle-style E14 fitting. Hand-sculpted metal olive leaves cluster at the top of the central column and cascade below the arms, wrapped with a textured rope-like binding at the crown. A crystal medallion sits at the base of each leaf cluster, catching and reflecting light from the six candles above.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the chandelier provides general ambient light across a 3-4m dining table or a 4x4m room footprint. The 1829mm chain allows the drop to be adjusted between 914mm and 2692mm on installation, positioning the chandelier 700-900mm above a table surface or higher as a centrepiece in a double-height space. The six E14 fittings accept candle bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED or filament bulbs depending on the desired light temperature and output.

The gilded gold finish is applied by hand and patinated to bring out darker tones in the recesses of each leaf, giving depth to the metal rather than a flat gold coating. The leaf detailing varies slightly across the clusters as each piece is individually formed and positioned, so the chandelier reads as a sculptural object rather than a stamped production fitting. The crystal medallion at the base adds a decorative accent without overwhelming the organic form, and the candle sleeves are finished in cream to soften the contrast against the gold metalwork.

The Sweet Olive uses six E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, each up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a soft ambient glow that complements the gilded gold finish.
