Description

The Suri is a 444mm outdoor wall lantern built from UV-resistant composite material, finished in textured black with a caged frame surrounding a cylindrical clear seeded glass enclosure. A single E27 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the glass, with the cage protecting the glass panels from impact while the IP44 rating allows installation in exposed UK weather conditions including rain and coastal spray.

Designed for house entrances, garage sides, porch walls and garden pathways, the Suri mounts on a rectangular backplate that sits flush against the wall with a 260mm projection outward. The clear seeded glass maximises light output in all directions while the bubble texture softens glare from higher-wattage bulbs. The cage design references traditional maritime lanterns but scaled to suit modern brick and render exteriors.

The composite construction resists fading, chalking and UV degradation in direct sunlight better than painted metal, and will not corrode in coastal environments where salt air breaks down standard steel or aluminium fittings over time.
