Description

Our Sunburst with Wave Border 3D wall panels set a pleated sunburst at the heart of every square. A raised square frame holds a round disc of narrow segments that radiate from a small central dome. Around it, four L-shaped corner fields, split by short bars at the middle of each side, are filled with gently wavy parallel ribs that run along the top, bottom and sides and turn each corner. Each panel is a 50cm square of white PVC with a relief 12mm deep. The frames and disc stand out clearly, while the finer, softer ribs of the wave border give the edges a gentle ripple.

These panels are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops. Laid edge to edge, the squares build a feature wall in a living room, a hallway or behind a shop counter, where the repeating sunbursts form a steady grid framed by flowing borders. The relief comes alive as light falls across it. Low side light from a window or a wall washer draws shadows down the pleats of each disc and picks out every ripple of the ribs, while soft, even light keeps the wall calm and bright. When working out how many a wall needs, four panels cover one square metre.

Each panel is made from a 0.8mm sheet. To fit one, spread adhesive across its back and press it onto the wall. The panels cut to fit around windows and doorways, and once they are up you fill the joins with filler and wipe them clean, with no special equipment needed. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. PVC is waterproof and low maintenance, and a wipe with a damp cloth keeps the surface fresh. For a balanced wall, start with a full panel at the centre and work outwards, so that any cut panels fall at the edges where they catch the eye less.
