Description

The Strata is a 1200mm circular ring chandelier built from natural Spanish alabaster panels set within a polished copper frame. The ring suspends from four slim steel cables connected to a circular copper canopy, with an integrated LED concealed inside the ring casting 3000K warm light through the alabaster. At 85mm in height, the fitting sits low and horizontal rather than dropping deep into the room.

Designed for large dining tables, kitchen islands, hotel lobbies and open-plan living spaces, the Strata works best where width and horizontal presence are preferred over vertical drop. The 1200mm diameter suits dining tables of 1.8m or longer and ceiling heights from 2.6m upwards. The four-cable suspension is adjustable on installation, allowing the ring to be set 700-800mm above a dining surface or higher in a circulation space.

The alabaster panels are segmented around the ring and held in place by vertical copper bars, which break up the surface into rhythmic sections and let the polished metal catch light against the translucent stone. Each panel shows the natural veining and tonal variation typical of Spanish alabaster, so no two rings light identically. Stainless steel structural components inside the frame carry the load while staying hidden behind the alabaster and copper exterior.
