Description

The Stockholm is a 1180mm black outdoor pillar light built around a cylindrical galvanised steel post with a metal cage lantern head and a broad canopy top. The E27 socket sits inside the cage, visible through the horizontal bars, with the canopy providing overhead rain protection. The IP54 rating makes it suitable for exposed outdoor positions including gardens, driveways, patios and coastal properties.

Designed for pathway lighting, driveway entrances and patio boundary marking, the Stockholm casts downward and radial light through the cage structure, creating a mix of functional pathway illumination and decorative shadow patterns on surrounding surfaces. The 1180mm height positions the light source at waist level, reducing direct glare while maintaining visibility across a 3-4m radius when fitted with a typical 8-10W LED bulb. The pillar fixes to a concrete base or paving slab via a circular mounting plate at the base.

The galvanised steel construction resists corrosion in coastal and high-moisture environments, with the black powder coat providing a low-maintenance finish that weathers uniformly over time. What bulb does the Stockholm take?

The fitting uses a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit a 6-10W warm white LED for outdoor pathway lighting, or a clear filament LED if they prefer a decorative vintage look through the cage.
