Description
The Stockholm is a 475mm outdoor pedestal light built from galvanised steel with a black powder-coated finish, designed around a single E27 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately). The fitting consists of a circular top canopy approximately 350mm in diameter, three horizontal louvre rings that shield the bulb from direct view, a clear polycarbonate cylinder surrounding the light source, and a fixed base plate with pre-drilled mounting holes for securing to a concrete or paved surface.
Designed for driveways, garden pathways, patio edges and entrance posts, the Stockholm casts 360-degree light downward and outward through the gaps between the louvre rings, with the top canopy preventing rain from entering the fitting. The IP54 rating allows installation in exposed positions subject to rain and windblown dust, and the galvanised steel construction carries no coastal exclusion in Norlys' 5-year guarantee, meaning the fitting can be installed in coastal areas where salt spray and high humidity would otherwise corrode unprotected metals.
The three louvre rings and black finish give the fitting a Scandinavian modern appearance that pairs well with monochrome, industrial and minimalist exterior schemes. The 475mm overall height positions the light source approximately 400mm above ground level, allowing low-level path lighting without glare when approached on foot. The E27 socket accepts LED, CFL or filament bulbs up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose the colour temperature and brightness that suits the outdoor space.

Frequently Asked
Can the Stockholm be used in coastal areas?
Yes. Norlys' 5-year guarantee on the Stockholm carries no coastal exclusion zone, meaning the galvanised steel construction and powder-coated finish are rated to withstand salt spray and high humidity environments without voiding the warranty.
What bulb does it take?
The Stockholm takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most outdoor installations use a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for soft ambient lighting along pathways or driveways.
How is it mounted?
The base plate has pre-drilled holes for fixing to a concrete, paved or timber surface using appropriate fixings (not supplied). The fitting must be wired into outdoor-rated cabling by a qualified electrician and positioned where water cannot pool around the base.
What does the IP54 rating cover?
IP54 means the fitting is protected against dust ingress (limited to amounts that would not interfere with operation) and water splashing from any direction. The fitting can be installed in exposed positions subject to rain but should not be submerged or positioned where water pools around the base or in the top canopy.
