Description

The Stark is an 84mm fixed recessed downlight with a matt black aluminium bezel and an IP65 rating that protects the fitting against dust ingress and water jets from any direction. The fitting accepts a single GU10 bulb (sold separately) up to 50W and sits 29mm deep once installed, making it suitable for shallow ceiling voids where deeper housings would not fit.

Designed for bathrooms, kitchens, covered outdoor areas and commercial spaces where moisture or dust exposure is a factor, the IP65 rating allows the Stark to be installed in bathroom zones 1 and 2, above showers, near kitchen sinks, or under covered porches and canopies. The fixed bezel directs light straight down without adjustment, so it works best for general ambient lighting rather than accent or directional tasks. The 84mm diameter suits standard ceiling cutouts and pairs cleanly with other downlights on a grid layout.

The matt black finish contrasts with white or light-coloured ceilings and pairs comfortably with contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors. The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight at approximately 150g per unit, reducing strain on ceiling fixings when installing multiple downlights in a row. The GU10 base allows bulb changes without tools — twist the bulb out and replace when it fails, no rewiring needed.
