Description

The Starbeam is an 8-light chandelier built around a central column of hand-blown clear glass, with eight curved glass arms extending from a chrome-plated metal frame. Each arm terminates in a fluted glass sconce holding an E14 bulb (sold separately). The glass is fully transparent, allowing light from the bulbs to refract through the ribbed surfaces and cast patterns onto surrounding walls and ceilings.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Starbeam measures 890mm in diameter and 750mm in drop before chain adjustment. The velvet-covered chain conceals the cable run and softens the visual transition from ceiling rose to chrome canopy. The 8-bulb configuration provides adequate illumination for a 12-16m² room when paired with warm-white LED candle bulbs at 4-6W per fitting.

The hand-blown glass construction means each chandelier carries slight variations in the curvature and thickness of the arms, giving individual character to each piece. The chrome finish on the metal frame and fittings provides a high-polish reflective surface that pairs with both traditional interiors (where it contrasts with darker woods and fabrics) and contemporary spaces (where it complements greys, whites and metallics).
