Our Star and Petal Fans 3D wall panels bring a bold, symmetrical pattern to a plain wall. At the centre of each white PVC panel sits a large raised four-pointed star with gently curved, inward-sweeping sides, its points reaching toward the middle of each edge. In every corner a fan of three tapered, teardrop-shaped petals spreads out toward the star, two running along the edges and one on the diagonal. The shapes rise in a relief 18mm deep, with rounded, bevelled edges that soften every outline. Each panel is a 50cm square, and four panels cover one square metre, so working out how many a wall needs is simple.

These panels are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops, and they suit a feature wall behind a bed, a sofa or a reception desk. Fitted edge to edge, the petal fans of neighbouring panels meet at each shared corner and form a fuller flower, so the wall reads as a repeating pattern of stars and blooms rather than a grid of squares. When light falls across it from a window or a lamp to one side, the raised shapes catch it on one edge and cast soft shadows on the other, so the pattern grows bolder in side light and quieter when lit straight on.

Each panel is formed from a 0.8mm PVC sheet. To fit one, spread adhesive on its back and press it onto the wall; no special equipment is needed. The panels can be cut to fit, and the joins are filled with filler and wiped clean for a continuous finish. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. PVC is waterproof, and the panels wipe clean with a damp cloth, so they need very little maintenance. For a balanced look, start at the centre of the wall and work outwards, so any cut panels fall evenly at each end.
