Description

This resin squirrel figurine is caught mid-step on all four paws, its bushy tail swept high over its back and its head lifted as though something overhead has caught its eye. The fur is modelled in fine, feathery strokes across the body and the tail, painted a warm orange-brown with a cream belly and chest, a white muzzle, soft pink inner ears and dark eyes. It measures 14.5cm tall, 15cm across and 7cm deep, a size that reads well at arm's length without crowding a shelf.

At just 7cm deep it fits a narrow windowsill, the ledge of a bookcase or the end of a mantelpiece, and it is happy tucked between books or beside a potted plant. We like it on a kitchen dresser, a hallway table or a bedside shelf, anywhere a small touch of the countryside feels at home.
