Description

Made from aluminium, glass and steel, our Spring Table Lamp brings together a rounded opal shade and warm brass detailing on a slim stem and flat round base. We chose this pairing of frosted opal glass and metal because the two soften the light between them, giving a gentle, diffused glow rather than a harsh point of brightness. The shade sits neatly at the top of the stem, and the low, weighted base keeps the whole piece steady at just 1.3kg. It measures 37cm tall with a diameter of 16.4cm, so it stays compact enough to rest on a side table or shelf without crowding the surface around it.

What we like most about this table lamp is how portable it is. It runs from an included USB-C charging cable and power adaptor, with a 2m black PVC cord supplied as well, so you can move it from one surface to another with little fuss. It is an indoor piece, and it carries an IP2X rating to suit that use. The bulb is not included, which gives you the freedom to pick a warm tone that reads well through the opal glass, somewhere around 2700K if you prefer a softer, more relaxed light in the evening.

Assembly takes around 10 minutes, so there is very little to do before it earns its place on a desk, a windowsill or a bedside surface.
