Special Mum Circle & Heart Chrome Plated Decoration - Silver

This chrome plated circle and heart decoration brings a little sparkle and a lot of meaning to a mum's shelf, with a faceted pale pink heart hanging at the centre of a gleaming silver ring. The ring rises from a round foot on a short stem, and a curved scroll banner sweeps across the top, with the heart suspended beneath it on a small hook. Across the face of the heart are the words Special Mum in white lettering, and its many cut facets catch the light as you move around it. It stands 9cm tall, 7cm wide and 3cm deep, a small, neat size that fits a narrow windowsill or bedside table.

It makes a thoughtful Mother's Day gift for Mum, a simple way to tell her what she means to you. Because it stands freely on its round foot, it needs no wall, nail or hook: set it on her dressing table beside her jewellery, on a mantelpiece among family photographs, or on her desk at work where she will see it every day. Near a window, the facets pick up the daylight beautifully. The bright silver finish sits comfortably in most rooms, from fresh modern bedrooms to cosier, traditional living rooms.

The ring and stand are metal with a bright chrome plated finish, and the heart hangs from its hook just beneath the banner, clear of the ring on every side. To keep the shine at its best, dust it now and then with a soft dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners and scouring pads on the chrome. Lift it by the foot rather than the heart when you move it. For Mother's Day morning, we like to set it beside her card and a small bunch of flowers, so Special Mum is the first thing she reads.
