Description

The Sparx is a 1805mm linear LED pendant light built from extruded aluminium with a matt black finish, housing an integrated 27W LED running at 4000K. The fitting mounts on two suspension cables with a total cable length of 2150mm, allowing the height to be adjusted on installation to suit ceiling heights between 2.7m and 4.5m.

Designed for offices, retail spaces, conference rooms and open-plan commercial areas where neutral task lighting is needed across a wide linear span, the Sparx delivers downward-focused light without side spill. The 4000K colour temperature sits between warm and cool white, providing clear visibility for reading, computer work and product displays without the stark coldness of 5000K+ tubes. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only.

The 50mm projection from ceiling to underside of the fitting keeps a low profile under standard commercial ceiling heights, and the modular design allows multiple Sparx units to be installed in parallel runs for continuous lighting across longer spaces. The extruded aluminium body acts as a heatsink for the LED, keeping operating temperatures stable and extending the lifespan of the integrated light source. The matt black finish minimises glare and reflections under office lighting conditions.

No. The integrated 27W LED runs at full output only. If dimming is required for this application, consider pairing with a separately controlled ambient lighting layer rather than relying on the Sparx itself.

The Sparx is modular in design, meaning multiple units can be installed in parallel runs to create continuous linear lighting across longer spaces. However, each unit requires its own power connection and suspension cables, they do not physically link together into a single continuous run.

What is the IP20 rating suitable for?

IP20 means the fitting is protected against solid objects larger than 12.5mm but has no moisture protection. It is suitable for dry indoor environments only, offices, retail spaces, hallways, conference rooms. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens, outdoor areas or any space where moisture or steam is present.
