Description

The Sparkeon is a 3-light bar spotlight built from die-cast aluminium with a white powder-coated finish, housing three individually adjustable GU10 lamp heads on a 540mm linear bar. Each head rotates and tilts independently, allowing light to be directed across a kitchen worktop, onto gallery wall art, or down onto a dining table from a ceiling mount.

Designed for kitchens, living rooms, home offices and retail spaces where directed task lighting or accent lighting is needed without fixed downlight positions, the Sparkeon can be ceiling-mounted as track-style lighting or wall-mounted to wash light across a vertical surface. The 125mm projection from the mounting surface gives clearance for the lamp heads to rotate without hitting the ceiling or wall. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments.

The die-cast aluminium construction provides a rigid frame that holds adjustment positions without drift, while the white powder coating resists yellowing under heat from the lamps. Each GU10 socket accepts LED, halogen or CFL bulbs up to the maximum wattage stated in the Specification (bulbs sold separately), giving control over colour temperature and beam angle to suit the application. The bar can be oriented horizontally or vertically on installation depending on the layout of the room.

Is the Sparkeon dimmable?

Yes, but dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb you fit. Use dimmable GU10 LED bulbs paired with an LED-compatible dimmer switch. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.

What bulbs does it take?

The Sparkeon takes three GU10 bulbs (sold separately). GU10 is the standard UK twist-and-lock spotlight fitting. Most users fit LED GU10 bulbs between 4-6W and 3000K for task lighting, or 2700K for warmer ambient light.

Can it be wall-mounted as well as ceiling-mounted?

Yes. The bar can be mounted to a ceiling as track-style lighting or to a wall to wash light across a vertical surface. The 125mm projection gives clearance for the lamp heads to rotate in either orientation.

Can the lamp heads be angled independently?

Yes. Each of the three GU10 heads rotates and tilts independently on its mount, allowing different light directions from a single bar. This is useful for lighting a kitchen island from one end while also directing light onto a worktop or wall.
