Description

The Spark is a 60cm flush-mount LED ceiling light with an integrated 53W 3000K LED housed in a white powder-coated aluminium body. The circular profile measures 600mm in diameter with a 45mm ceiling projection, making it suitable for low-ceiling spaces where a semi-recessed or pendant light would hang too low. The integrated LED removes the need for separate bulbs and delivers warm white ambient light across the full diameter of the diffuser.

Designed for living rooms, dining areas, hallways and kitchens where overhead general lighting is the primary requirement, the Spark provides even light distribution across a 12-16m² area depending on ceiling height and room shape. The IP40 rating protects against dust ingress but does not provide moisture protection, so the light is suited to dry indoor environments only. Installation requires ceiling joist fixing or a plasterboard cavity fixing rated to the light's weight, plus connection to 230V mains via a junction box or ceiling rose.

The white powder-coated finish on the aluminium body gives a clean matt surface that reflects ceiling colour rather than standing out as a separate element. The polycarbonate diffuser sits recessed inside the aluminium rim, creating a subtle stepped profile when viewed from below. At 53W the LED output is brighter than typical 30-40W flush lights in this size category, making the Spark appropriate where task lighting or bright general illumination is needed rather than soft ambient light alone.

No. The IP40 rating protects against dust but not moisture or water spray. For bathroom ceiling lights you need a minimum IP44 rating, preferably IP65 for zones directly above a bath or shower.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and will flicker or fail if connected to a dimmer circuit. If you need dimmable ceiling lighting, look for models explicitly rated as dimmable in the specification.

What ceiling height does it suit?
