Description

The Sparion is a white metal cable holder with a 15mm diameter aperture, designed to secure pendant light cables to ceiling roses or manage cable runs along walls and ceilings. The holder consists of two stacked cylindrical sections with a central bore, allowing the cable to pass through while the holder grips it in place via friction or compression.

Used primarily in ceiling pendant installations, the Sparion prevents sagging cables on long-drop lights and keeps the cable aligned with the ceiling rose during fitting. It also works for managing AV cables, speaker wires and other low-voltage runs where a clean white finish is needed to match ceiling or wall colour. The metal construction provides rigidity that plastic cable clips lack, preventing deformation under tension.

The white powder-coated finish sits flush against white or off-white ceilings without creating visual contrast, making the holder less noticeable than chrome or brass alternatives. At 15mm diameter, the aperture accommodates standard twin-and-earth pendant flex and most braided textile cables used in decorative lighting. The holder carries a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux.
