Description

The Spar is a 3-light pendant built from three faceted polyhedral shades mounted on a brushed brass three-arm frame, suspended from a single drop rod. Each shade is assembled from flat black metal panels bolted together with exposed brass screws, with gold-plated inner faces that reflect the light back through the open vertices. Each shade houses one E27 lamp holder (bulbs sold separately).

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living areas, the Spar suits ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher. The 150cm cable allows the pendant to be hung at a typical 700-800mm above a dining surface, with excess cable concealed in the ceiling rose. The three-arm spread of 45cm distributes light across a wider area than a single-shade pendant, making it well-suited to longer dining tables or rectangular islands.

The faceted geometry produces a deliberate split between the matt black exterior and the warm metallic glow visible through each open face. When lit with filament-style E27 bulbs, the gold interiors amplify the lamp output and project pools of warm light onto the surface below, while the black exterior keeps the upper room reading darker. The metal construction with exposed brass fixings gives the fitting an industrial-modern character at 45cm diameter and 19cm height.

The pendant takes 3 x E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. The tags suggest pairing with E27 GLS filament-style bulbs, which work well with the gold interiors to produce a warm, visible glow through the open facets of each shade.
