Description
The Sorella is a 160mm-wide travertine pendant light shaped as a wide, shallow cone with a single E27 lamp socket at its apex. The shade is cut from natural light beige travertine, suspended from a slim braided cord in a matching tan tone, and capped with a small black metal collar where the cord meets the stone. The cone measures 130mm in height and opens to a 160mm diameter at its base.
The pendant suits kitchen islands, breakfast bars and dining tables hung in a row of two or three, and works equally well as a single pendant over a hallway console or bedside. Hung 700-800mm above a worktop or 750-850mm above a dining surface, the cone projects a focused pool of light directly downward through the open base while the stone exterior stays visually calm. The E27 socket accepts standard screw-fit LED, halogen or filament bulbs (sold separately).
Travertine is a sedimentary limestone with naturally occurring pores and tonal banding, and each Sorella shade carries different surface markings depending on the section of stone it was cut from. The matte, unpolished finish keeps the focus on the raw mineral character of the material rather than on reflectivity, and the light beige tone pairs comfortably with warm timbers, off-white plaster walls, and contemporary kitchen palettes built around oak, terracotta or putty tones.
The braided fabric cord visually recedes against pale ceilings, keeping attention on the cone's geometry. With a small footprint at 160mm wide, the Sorella suits low to standard ceiling heights and can be clustered at staggered drops without dominating the room.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Sorella take?
The pendant uses a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A 6-9W warm-white LED at 2700K-3000K works well for dining and kitchen island use, where a warmer light flatters the natural beige tone of the travertine.
Does each pendant look the same?
No. Travertine is a natural stone with inherent pores, banding and tonal variation. Each Sorella shade is cut from a different section of stone, so surface markings, pore distribution and exact beige tone vary between individual pendants. This is a feature of the material.
Can the cord length be adjusted?
Yes. The braided cord is shortened on installation to suit the required drop height. For a kitchen island the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the worktop; for a dining table allow 750-850mm above the surface depending on ceiling height.
How is the travertine cleaned?
Travertine is porous and should be cleaned with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water. Avoid household sprays, acidic cleaners and polishes, which can stain or etch the stone surface.
