Description

The Solis is a 25W LED track spotlight with an integrated adjustable beam angle from 20° to 55°, a matt black extruded aluminium body, and 1-10V dimming control. The cylindrical head mounts onto three-phase track systems via a rotatable adaptor at the top, allowing the spotlight to be repositioned along the track and rotated through 350° horizontally and tilted vertically to direct light where needed.

Designed for retail, gallery and commercial interior installations where accent lighting needs to highlight specific displays, product zones or wall-mounted artwork, the Solis provides adjustable control over both beam spread and intensity. The 20° narrow beam setting concentrates light into a tight pool for small objects or distant targets, while the 55° wide flood setting washes a broader area with even illumination. The 3000K colour temperature delivers warm white light that renders natural wood, warm metals and skin tones accurately without the clinical edge of cooler LEDs.

The 1-10V dimming protocol requires a compatible dimmer on the building's electrical installation — dimming cannot be controlled from the fitting itself. The matt black aluminium finish dissipates heat effectively and resists fingerprints and surface marks better than gloss finishes, maintaining a clean appearance in high-traffic environments. The 265mm length and 72mm projection from track mean the fitting suits ceilings from 2.4m upwards without the head dropping into sightlines.

What track system does the Solis fit?

The Solis is designed for three-phase track systems. It will not fit single-circuit two-wire track or standard domestic track lighting rails. Verify your existing track type before ordering — three-phase track has three separate conductors plus earth, allowing individual circuit control of different groups of spotlights on the same rail.

How is the beam angle adjusted?

The beam angle adjusts mechanically by rotating a collar on the spotlight head, moving internal optics to shift the beam spread between 20° (narrow spot) and 55° (wide flood). This is set manually during installation and can be readjusted at any time without tools.

What dimming control is needed?

The Solis uses 1-10V dimming protocol. This requires a compatible 1-10V dimmer installed in the building's electrical system — typically a wall-mounted control or lighting control panel.
