Description

The Solara is a 330mm outdoor wall light built from powder-coated die-cast aluminium in a black finish, with dual sandblasted tempered glass diffusers that direct light both upward and downward from a single E27 bulb. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exterior walls exposed to rain and coastal moisture.

Designed for installation on external walls at doorways, along pathways, or flanking garage doors, the Solara provides ambient illumination with a controlled spread. The 80mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall without protruding into walkways or head clearance zones. The dual-diffuser design casts light onto the wall above and below the fitting, creating a halo effect that softens the appearance of blank walls at night while providing enough downward light for safe navigation.

The die-cast aluminium body withstands thermal cycling, UV exposure and salt air better than pressed steel or plastic housings. The powder-coated black finish is applied after casting, providing a durable surface that resists chipping and corrosion. The sandblasted glass softens the light output from the E27 bulb, reducing glare while maintaining effective illumination across a 2-3m radius from the fitting.
