Soffi Small Glass Pendant Light - Clear

The Soffi is a hand-blown clear glass pendant light measuring 26cm tall by 18cm wide, suspended on a 150cm cable from a compact white ceiling fixing. A teardrop glass shade tapers from a narrow neck to a rounded base, encircled at the top by a tan leather strap that adds a soft contrasting texture against the smooth glass. A single G9 lamp holder sits inside the neck (bulb sold separately).

The clear glass envelope means the bulb is visible when lit, so the choice of G9 bulb shapes the character of the light. A clear capsule gives a sharp, sparkling point of light; a frosted G9 produces a softer, more diffused glow. The compact 18cm width suits installations in pairs or threes over a kitchen island, individually above a bedside table, or in a cluster at staggered drops over a stairwell or dining table.

Each glass shade is shaped using traditional glass-blowing, so subtle variations in wall thickness and curvature occur between pieces. The leather strap is finished with a small embossed tab and wraps around the neck where the glass meets the white upper collar, breaking up what would otherwise be a single material. The 150cm cable can be shortened on installation to set the pendant at the desired height above a worktop or table.

What bulb does the Soffi take?

How long is the cable and can it be shortened?

The cable measures 150cm and can be shortened on installation to set the pendant at the height you need. Over a kitchen island, the base of the shade typically sits 750-850mm above the worktop; above a dining table, 700-800mm above the surface.

Can I hang several Soffi pendants together?

Yes. The compact 18cm width makes the Soffi well suited to grouped installations in pairs, threes or larger clusters, often at staggered drops. Each pendant requires its own ceiling fixing point.

Are the glass shades identical between pieces?

No. Each shade is hand-blown using traditional methods, so subtle differences in wall thickness, curvature and weight occur naturally between pieces. This is a feature of the hand-blown process rather than a defect.
