Description

This is the Espire optical smoke alarm, powered by a non-replaceable 10 year lithium battery. It uses an optical sensor to detect smoke, and the case is made from UL94-V0 rated, UV stabilised ABS. It measures ø132 x 53mm.

Because the battery is sealed in for its full 10 year life, there are no batteries to change and no mains wiring to run. It supports RF interlinking when used with the ES1RF2 module, letting you connect up to 28 devices so that when one alarm sounds, they all sound. Please note it does not support wired interconnect.

With its optical sensor and Grade F1 installation rating, this alarm suits homes and general living spaces where you want reliable smoke detection. The RF-link option makes it a good choice across larger properties or multiple floors where you want alarms to work together.
