Description

This is a pair of smart LED GLS bulbs in an opal finish. They have the familiar rounded shape that suits a wide choice of table lamps, floor lamps and pendants. Each bulb has an E27 cap, the large screw cap many lamps take, and runs at 11W. The opal finish spreads the light from the LEDs evenly, so a lit bulb reads as a soft, rounded glow rather than a cluster of bright points. That matters wherever the bulb is on view, in an open shade or a bare pendant.

These bulbs suit anyone who wants colour and smart control from a lamp they already own, without replacing the fitting. Put one in a living room pendant for a calm evening glow, set a bedside lamp to a colour that suits the mood, or use the pair across a study and a hallway. Because the bulbs change colour and let you adjust the colour temperature, the same light can run cooler for reading or working and warmer as the evening settles. Dimming takes the brightness right back when you only want a gentle light. Buying them as a pair is an easy way to try smart lighting in more than one room.

Control comes from an app, and the bulbs are made to join a smart home setup, so you can dim them, change the colour or shift the colour temperature from your phone. They also work with a remote control, which is sold separately and is not in the box. The bulbs carry energy class E. Since the E27 cap simply screws into place, fitting one takes moments, so the practical check before ordering is that your lamp or pendant takes an E27 cap.
