Description

Our Smart Colour Changing LED GLS Bulb comes as a pair. Each bulb has the familiar rounded GLS shape, a white opal cover and a silver-toned E27 screw cap. Each one uses LED technology, draws 11W and gives out 2,600lm, a bright output for the main pendant in a living room or kitchen. The energy class is E. Because the cap is the large E27 screw fitting, the bulbs go straight into an existing lamp holder that takes E27, with no change to the light itself.

These bulbs suit any room where the light needs to do more than one job. Turn the colour temperature towards a warmer light for a relaxed evening in the living room or bedroom, or towards a cooler light for reading, cooking or working at a desk. The colour-changing setting lets you wash a room in pinks, greens and other colours for a party or a film night. Because the bulbs are dimmable, you can bring the level right down whenever the evening calls for it. Buying them as a pair means a pendant and a table lamp in the same room can match exactly.

Both bulbs are smart home bulbs controlled by an app, so brightness, colour temperature and colour can all be changed from your phone without leaving the sofa. They also work with a remote control, which is sold separately and is not included in this pack. We like that the bulbs need no new fitting to become smart: the change happens at the lamp holder alone. Before dusting the white opal cover, switch the light off and let the bulb cool, then wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth.
