Description

Our small rectangular acacia serving board brings warm, natural wood to the table for everyday meals and relaxed entertaining. Cut from solid acacia, each board carries its own grain pattern, so the flowing lines and darker streaks running through the brown timber are never quite the same twice. The surface is finished smooth and sealed to bring out that honeyed depth, giving you a piece that feels sturdy in the hand and looks handsome set down among your serveware & trays.

At 36cm wide and 14cm deep, this is a neat size that suits antipasti, cheese, charcuterie or a handful of nibbles without crowding a small table. Use it as a serving tray for morning coffee and pastries, or as a resting spot for bread and dips at a supper with friends. The slim 1cm profile keeps it easy to lift, carry and stack, and its clean rectangular form sits comfortably in a modern kitchen or a more traditional dresser. Pair it with pale ceramics and linen for contrast, or let the wood tone play against darker crockery.

Acacia is a dense, hardwearing wood that stands up well to daily use. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry straight away rather than soaking or putting it in the dishwasher, as prolonged water will dull the finish. An occasional rub of food-safe oil keeps the grain rich and helps guard the surface. Treated this way, the board will hold its colour and character for years.

Frequently Asked

What is the board made from?

It is made from solid acacia, a dense hardwood with a warm brown tone and natural grain markings that vary from board to board.

How should I style it?

Use it for cheese, charcuterie or nibbles, or as a small tray for coffee and pastries. It works well against pale ceramics or darker crockery for contrast.

Is it big enough for sharing?

At 36cm wide and 14cm deep it suits a couple or a small gathering, holding a few grazing items or a bread and dip spread without taking over the table.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

No. Wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it right away. Avoid soaking, as too much water dulls the finish.

How do I keep the wood looking good?

Apply a food-safe oil now and then to feed the grain and protect the surface, keeping the brown colour rich over time.
