Description

The Slim Round is an 8.5cm diameter surface mounted downlight built from white powder-coated aluminium with a cylindrical body and a silver reflector insert. The 11.5cm projection from the ceiling houses a single GU10 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately) that can accept any standard GU10 LED, halogen or compact fluorescent up to 50W.

Designed for internal spaces where flush-mounted downlights cannot be fitted due to shallow ceiling voids or concrete slab construction, the Slim Round mounts directly onto the ceiling surface using a rear fixing plate. It suits kitchens, hallways, home offices, utility rooms and commercial installations where focused downward light is needed without the requirement for recessed cut-outs. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry internal environments only.

The white finish on the aluminium body blends with white or off-white ceilings, reducing visual impact when the fitting is not in use. The internal silver reflector maximises light output and directs the beam downward rather than allowing spill across the ceiling. The 8.5cm diameter and compact cylindrical profile keep the fitting unobtrusive in rooms with lower ceiling heights or where multiple fittings are installed in a grid or line.
