Silver Coral 1 Light Mini Pendant - Classic Pewter

The Silver Coral is a 184mm diameter mini pendant built around a coral-pattern metal cage that wraps a frosted glass diffuser in an organic lattice structure. The cage is finished in classic pewter (a silvery-grey metal tone) and sits on a matching pewter canopy with an adjustable rod drop. A single E27 bulb inside the glass diffuser (sold separately) casts light through both the frosted glass and the gaps in the metalwork, projecting coral-like shadow patterns onto nearby surfaces.

Designed for kitchen islands, hallways, bedside positions and entrance halls where a single pendant provides focused task or accent light without dominating the space, the Silver Coral works as a standalone fitting or in grouped clusters of two or three pendants spaced along a run. The 275mm minimum drop suits standard 2.4m ceilings, while the adjustable rod extends to 1219mm maximum for installations over staircases or double-height entrance spaces. The coral-pattern cage is die-cut from sheet metal and hand-formed to create irregular organic branches that mimic natural coral structures. The classic pewter finish is a low-sheen silvery-grey that pairs with both cool-toned contemporary interiors (greys, whites, blacks) and warmer schemes where the pewter acts as a neutral metallic accent. What bulb does the Silver Coral take?

The pendant takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting, or a clear filament-style LED to emphasise the shadow patterns cast by the coral cage.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The rod is adjustable on installation from a 275mm minimum drop (measured from ceiling to the base of the shade) to a 1219mm maximum drop. The adjustment is made during fitting by cutting the rod to the desired length and is not adjustable once installed.

How does the coral pattern affect the light output?

The open metalwork allows approximately 40-50% of the light to escape through the gaps in the cage, casting coral-branch shadow patterns onto nearby walls and ceilings. The frosted glass diffuser softens the remaining light into a general ambient glow. The effect is most visible with a clear or exposed-filament bulb rather than a fully-frosted LED.

Can multiple Silver Coral pendants be installed together?

Yes. The 184mm diameter makes the pendant well-suited to grouped installations. For a kitchen island, space two or three pendants 600-800mm apart along the centreline. For a hallway run, space them 900-1200mm apart depending on the corridor length and ceiling height.
