Description

The Siena is a 2 light wall fitting with two curved polished chrome arms rising from a square chrome backplate, each arm topped with a black silk string shade and a teardrop-shaped black crystal pendalogue. A central crystal sphere sits where the arms meet the backplate, adding a second layer of crystal accent. The black shades have white fabric linings that reflect light back through the silk, creating a warm diffused glow rather than directional task light.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living room walls where ambient light is needed without ceiling fittings, the Siena works either side of a bed as bedside lighting, flanking a mirror in a hallway, or as accent lighting on a feature wall. The built-in rocker switch on the backplate allows the light to be turned on and off at the wall without needing a separate pull-cord or remote switch, making it particularly useful in bedrooms. The 180mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting clear of headboards and picture frames.

Each arm takes one E14 candle bulb up to 40W (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose warm-white LED, filament-style LED or halogen depending on the brightness and colour temperature needed. The polished chrome finish reflects ambient room light during the day and pairs with both traditional and contemporary interiors. The black crystal droplets and central sphere catch light from the bulbs and from windows, adding movement and sparkle without the weight or complexity of a full crystal chandelier.

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E14 bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch on the wall circuit. The built-in rocker switch on the backplate is an on/off switch, not a dimmer control.

What bulbs does it take?

The Siena takes two E14 candle bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedroom or hallway lighting.

Can it be fitted to a plasterboard wall?

The fitting weighs 1.1kg and should be fixed to a solid wall or into a batten behind plasterboard. Standard plasterboard fixings rated for 2kg or higher are suitable if no solid wall is available.

Where is the switch located?

The rocker switch is built into the square chrome backplate at the centre of the fitting, between the two arms. This allows the light to be turned on and off without needing a separate pull-cord or wall switch.
