Description

The Siena is a single-light wall fitting with a polished brass arm holding an amber silk-string shade, a cut crystal sphere and two faceted crystal pendalogues. An integrated rocker switch on the rectangular backplate allows the fitting to be controlled without needing a separate wall switch. The lamp takes one E14 bulb (sold separately) positioned inside the 100mm-wide shade.

Designed for bedside use, hallway accent lighting and dressing rooms where wall-switched control is impractical or not available, the Siena projects 200mm from the wall and stands 300mm high. The amber silk shade softens the light from the bulb and casts a warm glow that pairs with brass, gold and warm-toned timber interiors. The crystal sphere sits at the arm's curve, catching light whether the bulb is on or off, while the two faceted droplets hang below.

The polished brass finish is a high-shine yellow metal that develops a natural patina over time unless regularly polished. The silk-string shade construction allows some of the bulb's light to pass through the weave, giving a softer ambient effect than a solid fabric or paper shade. At 0.90kg, the fitting is light enough for plasterboard walls with appropriate fixings but includes sufficient weight to feel substantial once mounted. The integrated switch removes the need for reaching across a bedside table or searching for a pull-cord in dim light.

Is the Siena dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit a dimmable E14 bulb and the wall circuit is wired to a compatible dimmer. The integrated switch on the backplate is a standard on/off rocker and does not include dimming control.

What bulb does it take?

The fitting takes one E14 small Edison screw bulb, often called an SES or candle bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W LED warm-white (2700K-3000K) candle or golf-ball bulb for bedside or accent use.

Can the shade be replaced if damaged?

The amber silk-string shade is specific to this Mantra range. Contact us directly if you need a replacement shade — we can order spares from Mantra where stock allows.

Does it need a wall switch or does the integrated switch replace that?

The integrated rocker switch on the backplate allows you to control the light without a separate wall switch. Many users install this on a permanent live circuit where adding a wall switch would be impractical, such as beside a bed or in a hallway without convenient switch positions.
