Description

The Seville is a ceramic pendant light with a deep drum shade and a rounded dome at its crown, finished in our Marbled glaze: soft drifts of grey and white swirl across a glossy surface that catches the light. It measures 15.5cm tall and 28cm across, a compact size that sits comfortably over a table or in a smaller room. The shade is open underneath, so the light falls downwards. The brass metalwork comes in Matt Black, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Polished Brass or Satin Brass, and the Matt Black version is painted in RAL 9005. It takes one E27 bulb of up to 40W, and bulbs are sold separately, so you choose the bulb you prefer.

We would hang the Seville pendant over a dining table, where that downward light pools on the table, or in a living room, singly or as a pair over a sideboard or a reading corner. The marbled ceramic brings a natural, stone-like character to a plain ceiling, and the finish you pick sets the tone: Matt Black for a crisp contrast with the pale glaze, or Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Polished Brass or Satin Brass for a softer metallic edge. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only.

Each Seville is made to order for you in Ireland, the ceramic shade paired with brass metalwork in the finish you choose. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered. It is wired in to the mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install.
