Description
The Serava Small is a 400mm alabaster wall light built around a vertical oval ring carved from natural Spanish alabaster, mounted on a slim copper frame finished in soft white with a matt black cylindrical fixing detail at the top. An integrated 3000K LED runs the length of the stone, lighting the full oval form so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser and the veining of the stone reads clearly across the surface.
At 400mm tall, 150mm wide and projecting only 55mm from the wall, the Serava Small suits bedside positions, narrow hallway runs, en-suite zones outside the bathroom IP zones, and grouped arrangements either side of a mirror or bedhead. The shallow projection means it works in corridors and tight passages where deeper wall lights would be intrusive. Hardwired to a 230V mains supply, the fitting is designed for permanent installation rather than plug-in use.
The body is solid copper finished in soft white, with the matt black cap providing a quiet contrast against the cream tones of the stone. Each alabaster oval is cut from a different section of Spanish stone, so the veining and tonal variation differ between individual fittings, both when lit and unlit. The combination of the warm 3000K LED and the natural translucency of the alabaster gives an ambient glow rather than directional task light, making the Serava better suited to atmosphere than to reading.

Frequently Asked
Can the Serava be used in a bathroom?
No IP rating is listed for this fitting, so it should not be installed within bathroom IP zones. It can be used in en-suite or dressing areas outside the splash zones, in bedrooms, hallways and living spaces.
What colour temperature does the LED produce?
The integrated LED is 3000K, a warm white tone that pairs with the natural cream and amber colouring of the alabaster to give an ambient glow rather than a clinical or cool light.
Does each piece of alabaster look the same?
No. Each oval is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual fittings. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect, and is visible both lit and unlit.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid water, household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, which can mark or stain the surface of the stone.
