Seluci LED Flush Ceiling Light - White

The Seluci is a round LED flush ceiling light in white, made to sit close to the ceiling and spread an even light across the room. The body is white steel, and the white plastic diffuser is framed by a ringed rim with a clear outer band that catches the light at the edge. It measures 49cm across and just 8cm high, so it suits rooms where a hanging pendant would feel low. The LEDs are integrated, rated at 4 x 10W, with 1,150lm per light across its four lights. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in a dry room.

We see it as an easy choice for a living room, a bedroom, a hallway or a home office, anywhere one fitting needs to light the whole space. The low profile keeps the ceiling feeling open, and the clean white finish sits quietly against pale ceilings and plain walls. Because the colour temperature adjusts from a warm 3000K to a cool 6500K, the same light gives a soft, cosy glow in the evening and a crisp, bright white for reading, cleaning or working. That makes it a sensible pick for rooms that change their use through the day.

The light is controlled by the remote control that comes in the box. It is dimmable with an adjustable colour temperature, so you can set the brightness and the tone of white from your chair. There is no switch on the fitting itself; it is switched at the wall like any ceiling light. The remote runs on two AAA batteries. It works on 220-240V mains, is installed by a qualified electrician and has an energy class of F. Packed, it weighs 2.194KG. Fitted at the centre of the ceiling, its 49cm disc gives the one even pool of light that most rooms need.

Can this ceiling light go in a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means it is made for indoor, dry rooms such as a living room, bedroom or hallway, and it should never be placed near water or outdoors.
