The Savant is a rectangular decorative tray in black aluminium, 40.5cm long, 19cm wide and 1cm high overall. It has a flat base and a low raised rim on all four sides, enough to keep small things gathered together without hiding them. The surface has a gently textured, slightly uneven look rather than a polished one, which gives the black real depth when light catches the edges. At 1.35KG it has a reassuring weight in the hand, so it sits firmly and stays put whenever you reach for your keys.
