The Savannah Scallop Jute is a round rug in natural jute, finished with a scalloped edge that runs around its border. The centre is worked in a tight spiral, ring after ring of braided jute circling outwards, so the whole rug carries one warm natural colour with gentle shifts of tone through the fibre. It is a hand made flat weave, and the weave gives it a textured surface rather than a soft pile: firm and pleasantly ridged underfoot.
