Description

Sarabande is a traditional rug with a vintage look, its claret ground softly mottled and gently faded in places. A large ornamental medallion sits at the centre in pale pink, built from curling scrollwork and leaf shapes, and four matching scrolled motifs fill the corners inside a fine double line border. The colour falls between a deep dusty pink and a muted wine, warm rather than bright. It is made from 100% polyester and digitally printed, which lets the fine detail of the scrolls come through clearly.

It brings warmth and a touch of classic pattern to a living room, and the deep claret sits comfortably against dark floors and richly painted walls. We sell it in four sizes. The 61 by 230cm runner suits a hallway or the long side of a bed.
