The Sapporo is a sputnik chandelier made of brass: 29 slim rods radiate from a central ball, each ending in its own lampholder, so the light reaches out evenly in every direction. It is 60cm tall and 60cm across, and it hangs on 1m of cable and chain as standard. It comes in Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Matt Black, Polished Brass or Satin Brass; the Matt Black is painted to RAL 9005. Bulbs are sold separately. It takes 29 E27 bulbs, up to 60W per bulb, so you choose the bulbs and the warmth of light yourself.

This is a chandelier for the centre of a room. At 60cm across it suits a dining room, hung over the middle of the table so the rods spread out above it, or a living room, where it gives the ceiling a strong centre and lights the space from one point. With 29 bulbs it gives plenty of light, and the bulbs you choose decide how bright and how warm that light is. Polished Brass and Satin Brass give it a warm shine, Antique Brass a softer, older tone, Antique Silver a cool grey sheen and Matt Black a crisp outline against a pale ceiling. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only, indoors.

The Sapporo is made of brass and made to order for you in Ireland. It is a Class I fitting, wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered. Before you order, measure your room: allow for the chandelier's 60cm height and 60cm width, plus the 1m of cable and chain it hangs on as standard, so it hangs where you want it.
