Description

The Sapphire is a 500mm flush ceiling light with a textured amber-toned glass bowl and brass detailing at the centre mount. Four E27 bulbs sit inside the bowl (sold separately), casting light upwards through the glass surface and downwards into the room. The interior of the glass is treated with a fine grit texture that diffuses the light and adds visual interest when the fitting is viewed from below.

Designed for rooms with standard ceiling heights where a pendant drop would intrude, the Sapphire works as ambient lighting in bedrooms, living rooms and entrance halls. The 500mm diameter provides balanced light coverage across a 12-16m² floor area when paired with warm-white bulbs between 2700K-3000K. The flush mount sits close to the ceiling, leaving minimal projection into the room while the brass collar at the centre adds a metallic accent.

The amber glass tone warms the output from any bulb fitted, making cooler LED bulbs appear warmer and white-toned rooms feel less clinical. The brass finish on the central mount coordinates with other brass hardware (door handles, curtain poles, switch plates) in both contemporary and classical interiors. Dimmable when paired with compatible E27 LED bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch, allowing output to be adjusted for different times of day.
