Description

The Sapphire is a 400mm flush ceiling light combining a textured amber glass bowl with brass metal fittings and a central brass finial detail. The glass is worked on its inner surface with fine grit to create a rippled texture that diffuses light from three E27 bulbs (sold separately) across the ceiling plane. The amber tone of the glass adds warmth to the output, filtering white light into a softer gold-toned glow.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.2m and 2.6m where a pendant would hang too low, the Sapphire mounts directly to the ceiling with minimal projection. The 400mm diameter suits hallways, bedrooms, compact living rooms and dining areas up to approximately 12-15m². The flush mount means the light sits close to the ceiling surface, leaving headroom clear while providing ambient and decorative illumination across the space.

The brass fittings include a central mounting plate and a decorative finial at the base of the glass bowl, both finished in a warm polished brass that complements the amber glass tone. The textured inner surface of the glass creates a ribbed pattern visible when the light is off, adding decorative interest even when the fitting is not in use. The IP20 rating restricts the Sapphire to dry indoor locations only.
