Description

Standing 140cm tall, our Santé Floor Lamp gives you height where a room needs it, whether that is beside a reading chair, in a hallway corner or flanking a sofa. The stand measures 38cm across the base, which keeps it steady on the floor without taking up much footprint, and the whole piece weighs just 3.3kg, so we find it easy to move between rooms when the mood shifts. The slim straight stem rises from a flat round base, shown here fitted with a feather shade, and the White finish keeps the profile light against both pale and darker walls.

The stand is made from aluminium, steel, MDF and ABS, a mix that holds its shape while keeping the weight down. The White colour runs the length of the stem and across the base for a clean, consistent look that suits most schemes. Assembly takes around 10 to 15 minutes, so you can have it upright and wired the same afternoon it arrives. It carries UKCA, cETLus, IP2X and CE Standard markings for indoor use, and we recommend keeping it indoors where it belongs.

The lamp takes an E27 bulb, with an E27 to E27 fitting included so you are ready to go, and we would suggest a max 15W LED (not included) to suit the fixture. That leaves the choice of warmth and brightness to you, whether you prefer a soft 2700K glow for evenings or something cooler for a working corner. Pair it with a table lamp base elsewhere in the room if you like a layered scheme, or let this one stand on its own.
