At just 10cm wide and 22.6cm tall, our Santé Ceiling/Wall Light is a compact fitting that suits the spots where a larger light simply will not sit. With a depth of 29.5cm, it projects gently from the wall to cast light where you need it, whether that is beside a bed, above a reading chair or along a hallway. It weighs only 900g, so we have kept the fixings straightforward, and we find most people have it up in around ten to fifteen minutes. This is a bracket-style fitting with a bare lampholder on the end, which means you choose the bulb that suits the room.

We have finished this version in brass, a warm tone that we think works beautifully against both pale and darker walls. The lamp takes a max 15W LED E27 bulb, which is not included, so you can pick a warm or cooler colour temperature to match the mood of the space. It is rated for indoor use only and carries CE and UKCA markings along with an IP2X rating, so we would keep it to dry rooms rather than bathrooms or covered outdoor areas. Because it uses a standard E27 fitting, swapping the bulb later is easy and we like that it keeps running costs low.

The Santé is made from aluminium, steel, MDF and ABS, giving it a solid feel without adding unnecessary weight. To keep the brass looking its best, we suggest a quick wipe with a soft dry cloth now and then, avoiding harsh cleaners that can dull the surface over time.
