Description

The Santa Fe is a two-tier ring chandelier: a wide upper ring hangs above a smaller drum, each one framed in steel and panelled in opal acrylic that softens the light from within. It is a big piece, 90cm tall and 180cm across, so it suits a generous room with the ceiling height to match. It comes in two finishes, PC Bronze or PC Gold. PC Bronze is the standard finish, and every one of our photographs shows PC Gold. Slim frames divide each ring into neat white panels on its sides and underside, so the whole chandelier glows like a wide, layered lantern.

It takes 24 E27 bulbs, sold separately, at up to 60W per bulb, so you choose the bulbs yourself. Spread across the two rings, that many lights make it a natural centrepiece over a long dining table or in the middle of a large living room, where the opal panels give an even, diffused glow rather than glare. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. The lower drum hangs from the upper ring on fine wires, which gives the two tiers their floating look and lets light fall through the open centre of each.

The frame is steel and the panels are opal acrylic, a pairing that keeps the shape crisp and the light soft. The chandelier is wired in to the mains, so a qualified electrician should install it. Every light is made to order for you, and this one is made in Ireland. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered.
