Sangamo SC4421PRO4 2 Channel 7 Day Time Switch - Bluetooth Programmable

The Sangamo SC4421PRO4 is a 2-channel 7-day programmable time switch with Bluetooth connectivity, providing two independent 16A volt-free changeover contacts controlled via a backlit LCD interface or a smartphone app. Each channel supports up to 300 memory locations, allowing complex switching schedules for lighting, heating, ventilation or other electrical loads across the week.

Designed for panel mounting in electrical enclosures, the unit measures 97mm wide by 80mm high by 62mm deep and ships with panel-mount brackets. DIN rail mounting is possible with the separately-sold accessory 95587. The Bluetooth capability allows programming and schedule adjustment via iOS, Android or Windows devices without removing the unit from the panel or opening the enclosure, making it particularly useful in commissioning and maintenance scenarios where the switch is installed behind a locked door or in a location difficult to access physically.

The two volt-free changeover contacts operate independently, each rated at 16A resistive load. This means either contact can switch mains voltage loads, low-voltage DC circuits, or act as a dry-contact signal to other control equipment without tying the time switch to a specific voltage. The 10-year battery reserve maintains programme memory and real-time clock accuracy during power outages, so schedules resume correctly when power returns. The LCD shows date, day of the week, current time, and active programme status across 35 switching steps.

What loads can the 16A changeover contacts switch?

Each contact is volt-free and rated at 16A resistive. They can switch mains voltage lighting or heating circuits, low-voltage DC loads, or act as dry-contact signals to other control systems. The volt-free design means the contact is not tied to a specific supply voltage.

Can the time switch be programmed without the Bluetooth app?

Yes. The unit has a backlit LCD interface with four control buttons (M, -, +, OK) for manual programming. The Bluetooth app is optional and provides a more convenient method for setting schedules, particularly when the switch is installed in a location that is difficult to access.

Is DIN rail mounting possible?

The SC4421PRO4 ships ready for panel or surface mounting. DIN rail mounting requires the separately-sold accessory 95587, which is not included in the box.

How long does the battery reserve last?

The battery reserve is rated at 10 years and maintains programme memory and real-time clock accuracy during mains power outages. The battery is not user-replaceable.
