Description
The Salbora is a slim LED floor lamp in black: a single steel arc that rises from a small square base and curves gently through its full height of 162.5cm. A white plastic diffuser runs along the inner edge of the curve, covering an integrated LED that draws 29W and gives 3,500lm of light at 3000K, a warm white. It carries an IP20 rating, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in rooms that stay dry, such as a living room, bedroom or study.
Because the light runs along the length of the curve rather than from a single point, it throws a soft glow across the wall behind it, so the lamp looks its best tucked into a corner, beside a media unit or at the end of a sofa. It takes up very little floor space, which makes it a good answer for a room where a bulky lamp would get in the way. At 3,500lm it is bright enough to serve as the main light in a sitting area, or to give a warm background glow while you watch television or read. Anyone who wants a clean, modern shape without clutter will find it an easy choice.
The body is steel in a black finish, and the white plastic diffuser softens the LED so you see an even line of light rather than bright points. Because the LED is integrated, there is no bulb to buy or change. A foot switch turns it on and off, handy when your hands are full, and as the lamp is not dimmable it gives the same warm output every time. Its energy class is E. The installation instructions come as a download, and the packed weight is 2.689KG, so the box is a manageable one to lift.
