Description

The Sag Harbor is a 413mm-tall outdoor wall lantern with a painted burnished bronze aluminium frame, clear glass panels on four sides, and a single E27 fitting inside. The lantern-style housing mounts to the wall on a short curved arm and bracket, projecting 190mm from the wall surface to clear door frames and render. The IP44 rating protects against splashing water from any direction and solid objects larger than 1mm, making it suitable for covered porches, doorways and wall positions under eaves.

Designed for residential entrance lighting, porch lighting and pathway illumination alongside external doors, the Sag Harbor provides directed downlight through the clear glass while the burnished bronze frame adds a traditional lantern silhouette. The fitting accepts any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 60W (sold separately), allowing you to choose the light temperature and output that suits the application. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED filament bulb between 6-10W and 2700K for a traditional lantern appearance.

The painted burnished bronze finish on the aluminium frame gives a muted metallic tone that sits between antique brass and aged copper, with enough texture in the paint to diffuse direct sunlight reflections during the day. The clear glass panels are flat rather than bevelled, keeping the design clean-lined and contemporary despite the traditional lantern proportions. The aluminium construction keeps the weight manageable for installation on rendered walls, timber cladding and brick without needing additional support brackets. The curved wall arm and top loop reference carriage lantern design while the rectangular proportions and flush glass fit comfortably with both traditional cottage exteriors and modern builds.
